This role is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring the successful transition of new and existing products from concept through production. Working in a highly regulated, ITAR-controlled environment, the Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer is a top individual contributor who supports utilization targets and ensures that Titan’s products meet stringent quality, performance, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with the ability to blend technical precision and process ownership to drive innovation, consistency, and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Design & Engineering Leadership
Develop and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and detailed schematics based on design specifications and customer requirements.
Verify and annotate all numerical designations and specifications in drawings, using both CAD software and manual calculations when required.
Lead the design review process to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and compliance with Titan and customer standards.
Coordinate with suppliers to confirm materials and tolerances prior to production release.
Support prototype development, testing, and iteration; conduct risk analyses and document feasibility findings.
Standardize and unify engineering document practices to ensure version control and electronic storage consistency.
Manufacturing & Process Optimization

production efficiency.
Conduct time studies, fixture/tooling design, and capacity planning to achieve and maintain ≥75% equipment utilization.
Support CNC programming, tool selection, and setup optimization in partnership with
machinists and operators.
Analyze production data and process flows to identify bottlenecks and recommend data-driven improvements.
Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies to improve precision, safety, and throughput, with the ability to balance precision and speed under tight deadlines
Cross-Functional & Project Coordination
Serve as the primary engineering contact for Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain on design
and production-related matters.
Provide technical support for internal audits, quality investigations, and AS9100 compliance.
Record and distribute meeting notes, track follow-up actions, and report progress to the
Director of New Product Development.
Foster an environment of continuous learning, accountability, and technical excellence
